Danny the Dragon visits St Joseph’s Children Hospital of Tampa
To bring you up to date I need to share with you the wonderful experience I had at St Joseph’s Children Hospital of Tampa Florida along with Borders Bookstore. I arrived to an incredible group of children and some with their families by their side. These kids were “eyes wide open” as I read “Danny the Dragon Meets Jimmy”, to a variety of children sitting and lying down, whatever made them comfortable. They had an upcoming fund-raiser which I donated a piece of furniture from my furniture line (Which I am no longer selling). Borders had accumulated boxfuls of books to …
Danny the Dragon in a New Commercial
Very exciting news that a short commercial is being made to promote Danny the Dragon and my tour as the author. I was told it will be up and out the first week in August. This is terribly exciting news for us all here in the “Danny Team”.
Auditions for Danny the Dragon CD!
The CD’s music has been chosen and auditions for the voice to read “Danny the Dragon Meets Jimmy” are about to start. We have plenty of talented women biting at the bit to get in on this one, as you can imagine. Stay tuned!
Danny the Dragon Travels Back to Florida
Heaven! Is this Heaven? Oh, it’s just home! Why is it that many of us long to travel, we then go there and then we get home to Florida we never want to head out again for quite some time. Danny the Dragon Goes to Yellowstone National Park
Yellowstone, wow! I have to admit this is a place everyone NEEDS to visit. It is huge and I could have stayed much longer but we need to get back home and on the way to the Dakotas. Mt. Rushmore here we come. Danny the Dragon Visits Florida Montessori School
I haven’t shared with you a number of schools I was doing readings and Question and Answer periods with. One school I need to pay my respects to is a Florida Montessori School for the deaf I visited before I left on my trip. I was honored to do a reading at their school while one of the teachers did sign language. Author Tina Turbin on Being a Mom
I am leaving Los Angeles and heading up North to Alaska and Vancouver area. What a great time in LA writing and spending time with these two men and their girlfriends www.turbinbrothers.com. They are so darn talented and with the Arts as part of their ever waking moment, it is only contagious. We truly love being around one another. They love all I am doing as an author and I was happy to share Danny the Dragon with many others while in Los Angeles. I love being a mom!
Danny the Dragon at Book Expo America in New York
Today is a dream come true! Danny the Dragon is in Book Expo America! For those of you who do now know, this is an amazing book Expo in New York this year. Every other year it alternates with California. It is an incredible opportunity for me as an author to have Danny the Dragon entered and available for the many attendees to see and inquire about my book. Danny the Dragon and Airplanes
There is nothing better than “have job-will travel”. Yep I am off to the West Coast fairly soon BUT will be able to devote more time to my writing and developing recipes in the wonderful California kitchens.
