Creating more recipes
Still anticipating an update on the book shipment to the Exhibit, but I’m sure that everything will work out just fine. In the meantime, I’ve been coming up with ideas for incorporating raw and dehydrated gluten-free foods into some darn good recipes. I have a special interest in gluten-free due to having been diagnosed as gluten-sensitive years ago.
Danny the Dragon Cookbook and Gluten-Free website
I have so many fun projects in the works. I’m putting together more ideas and recipe developments for the upcoming Danny the Dragon cookbook and the Gluten-Free Help website. This is very much up my alley because I love to cook! I am continuing to develop and compile.
Delayed book printing
I’m concerned about the book getting printed on schedule. The printing’s been delayed due to a problem with a shipment of supplies that was needed. Can I just fast forward to the part where the books are at the exhibit?
Danny will make his big debut at ALA
The books are slated to come off the presses some time in early January, with enough time to get shipped over to Combined Book Exhibits for the other Book Shows. I am enjoying all of this so much! The ALA in January is Danny the Dragon’s big debut!
The new Danny the Dragon website
Susan Gilbert of Joomla Jump is still working on the site and it will be up in January! First small shipment of books went out to make it in time for the first Book Show, the ALA on January 23rd.
Great to be in the Florida sunshine again
It was a white Christmas indeed! I hope everyone else had an incredible holiday. So good to be back home, basking in the warm Florida sunshine. Time to get an update on the status of the books and the site!
Heading up to North Conway for Christmas
Well I’ll be offline for a little while – headed up north to North Conway for Christmas and won’t be back until the day after looking forward to the start of the new year! The Danny the Dragon site is officially being redone now. I am thrilled to see the outcome of it too.
The books have arrived and so have the puppies
I had a small shipment of books arrive already. What a Holiday gift to finally see these in person! We finally settled on names for the puppies. Darn it took awhile: Bailey and Teddy (Bear).
Danny is receiving A LOT of interest
I’ve made some excellent contacts that are interested in getting Danny the Dragon into some exciting Festivals and Book Shows! I also had an interesting 5 emails that went back and forth between myself and an agency in London. Well, that turned out to be a real waste of my time.
Ideas that have come to fruition
Wow, I’m still just wild about the illustrations… and I’m marveling again at how wonderful it is to actually see all of these ideas that have come to fruition. I am so pleased!
