Creating more recipes
Still anticipating an update on the book shipment to the Exhibit, but I’m sure that everything will work out just fine. In the meantime, I’ve been coming up with ideas for incorporating raw and dehydrated gluten-free foods into some darn good recipes. I have a special interest in gluten-free due to having been diagnosed as gluten-sensitive years ago.
Danny is receiving A LOT of interest
I’ve made some excellent contacts that are interested in getting Danny the Dragon into some exciting Festivals and Book Shows! I also had an interesting 5 emails that went back and forth between myself and an agency in London. Well, that turned out to be a real waste of my time.
So glad to have such a great illustration team
I’ve observed that the relationship between the translator, Aija and me has definitely blossomed and we’re very much a team. It is incredible to be working with such great gals! I even mentioned to Aija the possibility of meeting her one day, when I’m in Europe, however Aija keeps her business relationships strictly business, so “no-go” at this point. But that’s okay – this has still been a tremendous experience. On another note, I am so looking forward to our trip in May to Big Sur, Northern California and Oregon. The characters have been visualized
This week was HUGE! I call it Florida inspiration… I finally have a clear idea in mind of the characters for the story… I can see them so clearly that’s it’s almost real: their mannerisms, their ways of communicating, their thought processes — now I need to get these ideas down on paper!
