We were so thrilled to receive the news! I’m a finalist in the AZ Authors Association Literary Contest and Book Awards for my Danny the Dragon Meets Jimmy. If you click on the above link you’ll find my name at the end of the list (alphabetically organized).
I’ve written my 2nd article for the September issue of the National Foundation for Celiac Awareness (NFCA) newsletter, which focuses on: fun, sure-fire ways to help your child to actually LIKE eating vegetables, as well as proven methods to “sneak” vegetables in to many of your everyday meals.
Prosperity and achieving one’s goals is an essential aspect of our lives.
This is the topic of my latest article contribution to the Baby Boomer Knowledge Center. I encourage you to read it at the above link.

As many of you know, I personally strive to eat a healthy, gluten-free diet, yet still LOVE to enjoy delicious, healthy treats.
If you read my debut article in the August issue of the National Foundation for Celiac Awareness (NFCA) newsletter, you will find a helpful healthy-eating “tidbit”, and a delicious chocolate brownie recipe that is guaranteed to please your family, and keep them healthy at the same time! Definitely a treat!
Danny the Dragon has a home on YouTube, including a beautiful video of various images from our 2009 Book Tour to schools, hospitals and libraries.
Many more videos to come, but in the meantime, please visit the following link and drop us a comment (and a 5-star vote!) so that we know what you think of the video!
The Danny the Dragon series has built up quite a fan base, and I regularly receive messages to praise the work.
Susanne Gervay, an award-winning short story writer, recently commented with these kind words, “Tina’s work is a delight!” Thank you Susanne!
Much devastation was caused by the Victoria, Australia wildfires of February 2009, including the loss of the children’s book collections at the local libraries and schools.
Through the hard work of authors, writers, concerned citizens and the coordinated efforts of the Society of Children’s Book Writers & Illustrators (SCBWI), the book collections have been re-built as a result of generous book donations from around the world.
