Friend and radio show host of Power Women Magazine Deb Bailey shared an adorable photo of her grandson reading Danny the Dragon Meets Jimmy with his father. Children’s literacy is one of the most important issues facing us today. Fortunately, many groups, organizations, and individuals are dedicated to reversing the staggering statistics. My new Danny the Dragon Meets Jimmy DVD (including sign interpretation for the deaf) is quickly becoming quite popular with parents, teachers, librarians and children alike. This is a very unique video. Still looking for an AMAZING illustrator

Arghhhhh… several illustrators later and I just can’t nail anyone down…the illustration ideas that are being presented just don’t hit the nail at the right point… I’m still checking out books and websites and contacting and meeting loads of people. Quite fun though to be honest!

Reviewing the concepts

I’ve started the process of seeing who can pull this off… my strategy is this: sending out a small section of the treatment with a short description of the characters, and getting the illustrator to draw his/her concepts down… let’s see how it goes!
