The Wonders of the Grand Canyon
I am writing daily, making notes for more ideas, sharing Danny with others and reading books all the while. I was to be in the Grand Canyon and then off to California but this East Coast Book Tour is too jam packed. So fo now I am enjoying my East Coast necessities: laptop, vitamins, gluten free snacks and some good Starbucks shaker-iced green tea. I have to ask the producer about the Danny the Dragon CD!
Homeschooling May Be Worth a Try
It used to be that homeschooling had a certain stigma to it. When people heard the word, they pictured a child isolated at home from children his age and indoctrinated into his parents’ extremist views. However, homeschooling has steadily grown in popularity over the years, and it’s widely acknowledged now that homeschooling provides many benefits.
Visiting family in Seattle, WA
Right now I’m in Seattle visiting my father as he is quite ill. He finished his radiation treatment, so my husband and our 3 kids are up in cold, rainy Seattle for Thanksgiving and his birthday. I’m making the gang a delicious Sea Bass dinner and I sure hope he enjoys it.
