Proceeds from Danny the Dragon CD Support Good Cause
If you’re like most Americans, you probably haven’t even heard of celiac disease, an autoimmune disorder which causes an immune reaction that can affect the entire body, causing both physical and mental problems. The cause? An allergy to gluten, a component of wheat, barley, and rye. The problem with celiac disease is that doctors don’t know much about it either. They don’t know that it affects an estimated 300 million Americans and that with a simple test, a diagnosis can be made and the easy treatment can begin—a gluten-free diet.

Danny the Dragon Supports Education for the Deaf
As an active literacy advocate, I do as much as I can to get kids reading to revert the literacy statistic of this country. However, it wasn’t until recently that I became aware of another alarming statistic—the literacy rate among deaf children.

Disney, in none other than lovely Florida!
Sunset Park Elementary School, located in Windermere, Florida, welcomes author Tina Turbin to share her Danny the Dragon book with over 500 students, teachers, and parents. She will sharing her work with large groups and will talk about what it is like to write children’s books. In January, Danny the Dragon will make a return appearance when the school cafeteria celebrates “Appreciate a Dragon Day”- January 16th, so mark your calendars.

Sesame Street Halloween Concert – Tonight is our Big Debut!
Today is the big day and we’re absolutely thrilled to be a part of the Sesame Street Halloween Concert!

Sesame Street Halloween Concert – 3 Days Away!
The excitement is mounting for the “Sesame Street Halloween” Concert (performed by the Pasadena City College Orchestra) at Pasadena City College on October 30th 2009.
Not only is this a big debut for my Danny the Dragon, but this also marks the official release of the accompanying Danny the Dragon DREAMS CD and audiobook, profits of which are donated to the Celiac Disease Center at Columbia University Medical Center. We will also be providing a sneak preview of the Danny the Dragon Meets Jimmy DVD with sign-language interpretation, profits of which go to the Blossom Montessori School for the Deaf.

I am thrilled to have the opportunity to work with the distinguished conductor of the Pasadena City College Orchestra.
Danny The Dragon DREAMS – CD with Classical Music!
I am VERY pleased to share that the full Mastering of Danny The Dragon DREAMS CD has been fully Mastered and the CD cover is in design work as I type away here. Thank you Tom Morris at Morrissound Recording in Tampa, Florida! This is an amazing CD with my book being read by an extremely talented vocal-artist followed by a well chosen compilation of 10 original classical songs, composed by up and coming composers. This CD is for ANYONE and everyone, all ages. All the profits to this CD are going to a Cause that is very dear to my heart and I will be announcing the CAUSE, broadly and soon. All the legal mumbo-jumbo is just about totally complete. All the composers on this CD will be announced and broadly promoted, so I ask you to support the Cause and the Artists once we release the details. Each composer currently has beautiful credits for movie and television. More support to them will only help their career and this Cause. When I am given the OK to lift the curtain, I will be sharing it all! Exciting! Tina
